Flash Hounds,

You've done an awesome job with this flash! I've yet to see the rest of the "retard" series, but you can be sure I'll be checking it out.

The animation was very nice in my opinion, original. The sound was great, voices were well recorded (and acted I might say, however one girl's voice sounded very faded and far away from the rest, during snakes bashing scene by all the women :) )

The humour was just top notch in my opinion. Raiden's whole breakdown scene on camera was just absolutely hilarious! Ghostbusters and all (very well done!)

Overall, I give this one an 8. Could be on its way to being a classic!

And although I don't want to jump on the bashing bandwagon, I have a few words for "RuckusFox"...

"This was an awesome flash. It was meant to be funny, and pulled it off with expertise. It's not a parody, its not a satire, ITS MAKING FUN OF IT. GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS. And another thing, that whole "caucasian lover" comment was just totally unnessisary.
Just because every dark skinned "fictional" character cast in a filler role like "the bomb defusal guy" isn't remembered with an oscar nomination for being "black", doesn't give you the right to piss on everyone else who's been thrown into the lackluster catagory of "caucasian". So take that racist stick out of your ass as well, and consider yourself BLAMMED, you fucking retard !! "

Your flash is waaaayy too slow. Either that or just too long. The flash style you use looks to be a little dated (earlier ng stuff). If you were to make this thing any longer it would bore your audience to death. I would be a much more decent flash if you could pick up the pace a bit and not drag things out so much. The music was alright (was that Pantera?), but not too engaging for this sci-fi backdrop.

Honestly, this flash needs much more work. Speed it up, make it more engaging, and then lets see where you're at.

[The Reviewer Beatdown]

Why beatdown a good reviewer ?

It's been my experience as a reviewer, that every flash artist here on newgrounds gets defensive and downright agitated when anyone gives them criticism. My reviews are thorough, they can be uplifting, but they can also be harsh (but never without good reason). Granted, I too have written a "Fuck U" type review before, but I just didn't feel the piece at hand was even worth a minute of my time! It was a total pile of crap !! (Whereas others will simply write something like, WTF, u fag? this is teh gayest thing i ever sceane !!111!!!1, no matter if it's worthless, or a total masterpiece.)

You portray the reviewer as someone who is giving a thoughtful critique to a flash. It's not simply some lame noob speaking, but a generally well rounded response. And he deserves to get his ass kicked ?! You have to realize that there are easy critics, and tough critics. That's life. You can't please everybody no matter what medium of art you create. So if your work gets praised, or blammed, at least know that there are decent critics out there who will give you much more than just a two cent review.

The flash itself was nicely done. The part that shined the most was the fight scene between the reviewer and the street-fighter guy, well choreographed, and very lifelike. You should consider making a fighting game, if you ever choose to look into flash games :) . Nice music as well, very fitting for this piece. However, it was rather short, would have been nice if the beatdown was longer.

All in all, a good flash. Just keep in mind what I said about your fellow reviewers, right right ? ;)

And one last note to the rest of you out there who blow up easily to a fitting review of a terrible flash..... IT'S NOT OUR FAULT YOU CHURN OUT GARBAGE.

Another great NES movie to add to my collection.

Great job on cleaning up and gathering the sprites, everything fits quite nicely. Very funny, and very entertaining... this one brought me back. Great work, hope you make more NES movies in the future!
